Architect Jon Kristinsson designed the “Het Punt” activity center in Vroomshoop, Netherlands. The largest energy consumer in a well-insulated building is still the transmission (Rc = 5 m2k / W) through floors, walls, windows, doors and roofs. Immediately thereafter followed by ventilation. By using balanced ventilation with heat recovery from Fresh-r, 80-85% of this energy consumption is saved.
